Hi, I’m Savannah!

I believe good therapy starts with being genuinely known.

I’m less interested in putting you into a box than I am in understanding what it’s like to be you. We’ll get curious about the patterns you’ve developed, where they came from, and what they’ve been doing for you; even when they’re no longer working. Therapy with me is collaborative, practical, and human. You don’t need to have the right words or show up with everything figured out.

How I work

Insight and coping skills matter, but sometimes knowing why you do something or knowing what you’re “supposed” to do still doesn’t change what happens in the moment.

My approach is about going a little deeper. We might look at the experiences that shaped you, the ways your brain learned to protect you, the emotions or beliefs underneath a pattern, and what keeps pulling you back into it. Then we work with what’s actually there rather than trying to force a generic solution onto it.

I draw from approaches including EMDR, DBT, parts work, Brainspotting, CBT, CAMS, and motivational interviewing, but I don’t expect you to care about therapy acronyms. The approach should fit you, not the other way around.

A little about me

I’m a therapist and a person who knows that life is rarely as tidy as it looks on paper. I value curiosity, authenticity, humor, and conversations where you don’t have to edit yourself into something more presentable.

Outside of the therapy room, I’m a wife and mom of two, usually juggling more things than I probably should be. I love learning how people work, making things, getting overly invested in a project, and finding humor in places where it probably doesn’t belong.

What you can expect from me

The therapy space is yours and I will follow your lead. But I will also ask questions, offer observations, help you make connections, and tell you when I notice something that might be worth looking at more closely.

Therapy should have room for depth, humor, frustration, uncertainty, and the occasional conversation that takes us somewhere neither of us expected.

My goal is for therapy to feel like a place where you can show up as you are, understand yourself more clearly, work through what’s keeping you stuck, and make changes that actually fit your life.
